The Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) plays a key role in supporting a client service culture by driving the effective creation and execution of HR processes. The RHRM is responsible for the planning and delivery of processes for talent management, performance management, and employee engagement for clients within the assigned region, with the goal of developing a workforce that achieves excellence in driving business results, customer service, and client company values. RHRMs provide coaching and advisement to client leadership at all levels. The RHRM also works as a highly accessible approachable leader and advocate for the workforce at-large.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with client leadership to earn confidence through active listening, planning and execution of mission critical objectives.
- Ensuring effective HR Review, succession planning, and development of the leadership pipeline for the region.
- Ensuring consistent quality in selection, assimilation, on-boarding and training of team members within the assigned region.
- Actively promote workforce diversity.
- Coordinating job fairs, facilitating workforce communication and town hall meetings as applicable. Maintain local hiring partnerships
- Partner with leadership to develop success profiles and career paths.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of planning and executing compensation schemes.
- Facilitating, monitoring, and supporting the performance management process in a timely and effective manner.
- Providing partnership and counsel on all associate departures.
- Partnering leadership to engage and coach associates to facilitate high performance culture consistent with client leadership goals and priorities.
- Ensuring effective use of company recognition and communication processes
- Conducting store HR Town Hall meetings and following up to ensure effective execution on issues
- Supporting leaders in survey administration, feedback, and action planning
- Taking a leadership role in the execution of organizational change initiatives impacting the region.
- Serving as a first responder for associate relations issues and partnering with the Regional management team to determine next steps and ensure final resolution
- Partnering with leaders on strategic plans to drive business results, customer service, and alignment with Company Values
- Supporting all aspects of HR during key events such as mergers and acquisitions and regional expansion.
- Be a highly visible even-keeled non-biased advocate for all members of leadership and associates. Mediate performance issues to ensure respectful dealings in all instances.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- RHRM position reports to the CEO.
- No direct reports at this time.
Travel Requirements:
- Position is virtual with periodic client visits on-site.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is a frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be infrequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature, loud noise, drafts, or bright lights dependent on client business.
